LED DayLight Running Lights from Philips Provide Safety for Motorists

Philips Automotive Lighting North America has come up with two novel versions of the Daytime Running Lights, the LED DayLight 8 and 4.

Motorists are increasingly spending more time on the road and also directing a lot of effort towards customizing their vehicles. The new LED Daylights from Philips provides a unique look for the vehicle which sets it apart in a crowd. These Daylights enhance the visibility of the vehicle on the road, making it easy for other vehicle drivers and pedestrians to spot them. These lights consume much less energy when compared to existing halogen headlamps. The installation of these lights is a hassle-free affair as they come equipped with plug-and-play connectors and a smart clip-on system.

The General Manager of Philips Automotive Lighting, Dennis Samfilippo, claimed that the new LED DayLights 8 and 4 provide the motorist high visibility and ensure safe driving during daytime. He added that both the versions comprise of LUXEON rebel LEDs from Philips and comply with DOT and SAE standards. He claimed that these were the slimmest DRL modules that are currently available in the market and are efficient in energy usage.
