CTL is planning to include three new LED monitors to its product portfolio. The company will add the 27” LP2701, the 24” class LP2361 and the 22” class LP2151 to its LED display line that already comprises 23” LP2300 and the 22” LP2150.
The new LED monitors have the same image quality as that of HDTV. They come with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 16:9 display ratio as well as DVI, HDMI and analog inputs.
The LP2701, LP2361 and LP2151 are Epeat certified and Energy Star rated and they use only 40% of the energy when compared to a standard monitor. These monitors come with an anti-glare coating and expert finish, and they can be used in any environment. The new LED monitors exhibit a super-slim design having a profile nearly 1/4 the size of common LCD monitors and help users save space. Besides, the LP2701, LP2361 and LP2151 are VESA mountable.
Erik Stromquist, COO of CTL, said that the company is shifting its focus to energy- efficient LED based monitors at an affordable price, and by the end of 2011, the company will be shipping only LED monitors. He also added that the company is eager to add these new products to its LED monitor lineup.
