Philips has added to its range of Philips Entertainment LED lighting the Strand Lighting LightPack LED controller.
The sales manager for Benelux, Scandinavia and United Kingdom for Philips Entertainment EMEA, Grant Bales Smith stated that using smart addressing technology, the company has made it easier for end users to quickly access the luminaires in the PLTR1 range by simplifying the LED fixture set up.
The Philips PLTR1 range consists of the PLTR1RGBAW (5 color unit with tunable color temperature settings), the PLTR1RGB (RGB Color Mixing) and the PLTR1W (Tunable White Flood), each designed with different features and having varying channel requirements.
Smith explained that the LightPack LED controller automatically senses different units and assigns desired number of channels. A virtual dimmer channel feature allows the LED controller to set the mode of the fixture, i.e. 16 bit or 8 bit. Additionally, the compact size and the functionality of the controller allows for easy and hassle-free integration of the luminaires into event and entertainment lighting designs.
The sales and marketing director- Philips Entertainment EMEA, Michael Goldberg stated that the advanced efficiencies and dynamic functionality of the Philips Strand Lighting Light Pack LED controller can be used by a wide spectrum of customers.
