A provider of optical fiber-based network solutions, Sidera Networks has expanded its optical fiber network and added new data centers in the Northern region of Virginia. The company has also added Latisys’ data center campus, which is located in Ashburn, Virginia.
The campus has a recently built 71,800 ft2 data center and a 63,000 ft2 plant that generates more than 40 MW of power capacity. It offers businesses with high-quality support and security along with bandwidth choices, including Sidera’s fiber-based connectivity.
Latisys-Ashburn’s Regional Sales Director, David Haskell stated that the company’s colocation and data center services are suitable for service providers, government agencies, and enterprises from various industries. Haskell added that Sidera’s network offers versatility, reliability, and accessibility to ensure high-quality performance for mission-critical applications.
Sidera’s VP of Marketing and Business Development, Maura Mahoney mentioned that the company’s customizable network provides the reliability and versatility that are required to address the demanding needs of businesses. Mahoney added that the businesses colocated at Latisys’ plant can utilize Sidera’s network for low latency and high capacity connections.
