Laser Energetics has signed a new sales agreement with M.E.R.I.T., a New Jersey-based company which renders security services and also helps small-scale businesses to win contracts from the Federal Government. M.E.R.I.T. has bought Dazer Laser technology and is also a distributor of the Dazer Laser products.
M.E.R.I.T. has acquired a new distributorship to enable Laser Energetics to compete for federal contracts that are specific to small businesses owned by service disabled veterans.
Laser Energetics and M.E.R.I.T. have already won contracts with the federal government. Laser Energetics can compete for a number of federal contracts with the Federal Agencies and US Armed forces.
The Founder and President of M.E.R.I.T., Jose L. Rodriguez, stated that the innovative technology allows police officers to engage a threat from far distances ensuring that the officers have sufficient time to respond and also improves the stand-off distances which cannot be availed using other non-lethal technologies. The Dazer Laser is a tactical solution that can effectively save the lives of police officers, says Rodriguez.
CEO and Founder President of Laser Energetics, Robert Battis stated that the Dazer Laser technology is truly the future in 'non-lethal – less violent' technology to secure human lives.
