A provider of laser-based manufacturing solutions for the microtechnology industry, ESI has introduced the AccuScribe 2600, an advanced LED wafer scribing lighting system.
Developed using industry’s patented technology, this system allows users to extract optimum light output from LED applications.
ESI’s AccuScribe 2600 was developed, for manufacturing LED devices that provide bright lighting solutions utilizing metal mirror (MM), distributed bragg reflector (DBR), patterned sapphire substrate (PSS), and other sophisticated HB-LED extraction technologies. The company is displaying the AccuScribe 2600 at the SEMICON west exhibition being organized in San Francisco. Several customers have affirmed that the AccuScribe 2600 offers superior brightness wafer scribing solutions for several HB-LED technologies such as DBR metal mirror and PSS.
With maximum light extraction, LED manufacturing companies can increase their profits and income. AccuScribe 2600 helps LED manufacturers to achieve high-production, low-cost, high-brightness, eco-friendly, worker safety LED solutions, thereby helping its customers to gain more profitability in the lighting market.
ESI’s GM of LED µEngineering unit, Jonathan Sabol stated that the company utilized its patented technology to enable laser scribing in LED wafers. The increased demand for high-brightness LEDs has resulted in drastic changes in LED architecture and production processes to increase lumens/watt constantly, he added.
