Ready Holster is expanding its range of laser equipped guns with an advanced line of holsters with extra width.
In a recent press conference, the President of Ready Holster, Matthew Prestwich revealed that the company has been designing holsters to fit guns with barrels sized between 2” and 2.75” with lasers mounted under the barrel. Prestwich also added that once a laser is fitted below the gun’s barrel, conventional holsters become too big and do not fit the laser equipped guns as they taper off towards the end. The growing popularity of the tactical laser sights propelled the company to design holsters to accommodate the tactical laser guns.
Illustrating the drawback of the conventional holsters, Prestwich explained that to fit traditional holsters on laser equipped guns such as the Ruger LCP with Crimson Trace laser; the holster would be required to have a larger bottom to accommodate both the laser and the barrel. The new line of Ready holsters has been designed with additional width at the bottom to fit lasers of all makes and types.
The Vice President of Ready Holsters, Rose Goncalves stated that in addition to the clip side and new belt holsters, the company has also designed ankle holsters specifically for Smith & Wesson Bodyguard. The holsters also fit laser equipped guns of the size such as the Kel-Tec P-32 and the Diamondback DB380. Goncalves also revealed that Ready Holsters is developing holsters that can accommodate laser equipped guns with barrel sizes between 4”and 4.5”.
Ready Holsters has also introduced holsters for laser equipped guns with barrels sized between 3” and 3.75”. They will be able to accommodate guns such as the H&K2000 and the Subcompact Berretta Px4 Strom.
