Kyocera has released a LED-UV curing solution that serves as a critical component for industrial printing machines. The machines support swift label printing for utilization in UV curing-type printing technique.
The KVL-G3 Series LED-UV curing solution also utilizes LEDs to decrease power consumption by 70% when compared to traditional lamp-system solutions.
The KVL-G3 Series comprises three products, namely KVL-S05E-G3, KVL-S09E-G3, and KVL-S09E-G3S. All the three devices have a LED wavelength of 385 nm and a lifespan of 15,000 hours. The KVL-S05E-G3, KVL-S09E-G3, and KVL-S09E-G3S curing solutions have an irradiation area of 110×48, 220×48, and 220×24 mm, respectively and are manufactured in the Shiga Yohkaichi plant in Japan.
The KVL-G3 Series incorporates a power-saving solution that enables decreasing the consumption of electricity. The company has also successfully arranged the LED chips on a surface having high-density and has allowed label printing at speeds of 80m/min.
The company has been rolling out vital instruments for digital printing and inkjet printheads that feature high-definition and high-speed printing. The KVL-G3 Series offers a better printing method by integrating the LED-UV curing system and inkjet printhead.
