SavWatt Deploys LED Street Light in Washington

Developer of LED fixtures and street lighting solutions, SavWatt USA has deployed a LED street lighting solution in the Department of Transportation building.

The Eco-Pole LED lighting solution has been deployed in the front of the building, which is located in Washington D.C. It is powered by sun and wind energy. The 60 W LED lighting solution is fully self-energized and is not linked to the energy grid. It was developed in America and does not utilize any electricity.

The company’s founder and Vice-President of Marketing, Martin Gerber stated that the installation of the Eco-Pole lighting solution in Washington has popularized the product and the company is now receiving requests from across the world.

He added that the installation shows how Americans could manufacture and deliver solutions that meet the requirements of competitive pricing and environmental stewardship.

The company also develops parking lights and LED bulbs and is using environmentally friendly and energy-efficient LED lighting instead of conventional incandescent lighting solutions.
