Unite Private Networks (UPN) entered into a 10-year agreement to supply data services using Wide Area Networks in Unified School Districts 114 and 431, located in the Elwood and Hoisington cities of Kansas, respectively.
The CMO and EVP of sales of Unite Private Networks, Rob Oyler stated that while Kansas is demonstrating its technology leadership through critical announcements, UPN aims at fulfilling the goals and needs of the schools in the K-12 education space for large bandwidth applications. Oyler also added that the networks provided by UPN will enable these school districts to control their destiny and growth with unlimited potential for growth.
Pleased with the level of professionalism and quality provided by UPN, the superintendent of Hoisington Schools, Bill Lowry stated that bandwidth is as essential a commodity to the school district like water and power. Additionally, Riverside School District’s technology coordinator, Leslie Rullman also stated that the fiber network set up by UPN allows the rural district to connect to districts such as Elwood and Wathena with shared servers and applications.
UPN currently provides fiber-based high-bandwidth communication networks to governments, schools, carriers, businesses, hospitals and data centers across 19 states in the United States.
