Vytek Designs Range of Laser-Based Solutions for Solar Industry

Designer, developer and manufacturer of edge deletion workstations and high speed solar scribing laser systems designed specifically for industrial and commercial applications, Fitchburg-based Vytek has developed a state-of-the-art series of products configured with a range of optical configurations and laser sources, viz. UV sources with 355 nm wavelength; pulsed long and short infrared sources of 1064 nm wavelength; continuous wave infrared laser sources with 1064 nm wavelength and pulsed long and short green sources with 532 nm wavelength.

Laser-based solutions targeted at the solar industry range from fully scalable equipment to stand-alone prototyping cells along with a range of components, which include custom part tooling and handling; motion control systems based on AC-Servo technology; custom beam shaping optics and exhaust handling and fume extraction.

Vytek will display its range of laser solutions at Intersolar 2011 at booth number 9140.
