Samsung Unveils New Series of LED-Backlit Monitors with MagicAngle Technology

Samsung Electronics America has launched four new series of LED-backlit monitors.

Offering reduced cost of ownership and superior image quality, the 850, 650, 450 and 200 Series monitors are aimed at entry level users in education, enterprise and SMB marketplace.

The 850 Series incorporates the PLS (Plane Line Switching) panel technology for high performance thus providing industry professionals access to the most accurate resolution and color reproduction. The panel’s high static contrast ratios, wide viewing angle and 100% sRGB spectrum coverage extends its application to video editing and graphic work.

Samsung’s 650, 450 and 200 series LED-backlit monitors incorporate a Multi-domain Vertical Alignment (MVA) premium panel, which is a cost-effective solution for providing faster response time, 178° wide viewing angle and an increased static contrast ratio. The 850 and 650 Series also feature energy saving functions such as ambient light and proximity sensors. An added advantage of the backlit monitors is that they incorporate Samsung’s MagicAngle technology, which ensures the viewer to experience complete color depth and contract irrespective of the viewing angle.

The 850, 650, 450 and 250 Series monitors can be arranged in a multiple monitor setup, made easy due to the thin-bezel design. All four series incorporate an adapter dock and have been embedded with a power switch and a wire and adapter management system.
