Ringdale Installs Lighting Fixtures in Parking Lot Facility

Developer of solid-state lighting fixtures, Ringdale has realized fine illumination in a parking lot facility lighting application in Texas.

The 52W ActiveLED parking lot fixtures replaced 1000 and 400W metal halide fixtures in the parking lot that covers over five acres. The metal halide fixtures were replaced with the ActiveLED parking lot and SL series street lights. The illumination project was completed in the year 2010 and the ActiveLED lights saved a total of 229,241 kWh in its first year.

The successful installation of the ActiveLED lighting fixtures led to more number of lighting retrofit projects at the Texas plant. Wall packs, walkway bollards, recessed can lights, and ActiveLED flood lights replaced the existing lighting solutions to light up the plant’s buildings. The company’s LightSpace management products offer additional energy savings by using intelligent controllers.
