Acuity Brands to Launch OLED Luminaires at LIGHTFAIR International 2011

Acuity Brands, a global provider of energy-efficient luminaires and lighting control systems, is set to unveil advanced Organic LED (“OLED”) luminaires at the LIGHTFAIR International 2011 Tradeshow and Conference.

Acuity Brands’ Kindred and Revel OLED luminaires have been designed for ambient, indoor applications. The Revel OLED modules have high-quality brightness and color control and a novel plug-in mounting facility that enables lighting designers to configure clusters of these modules into specific patterns. The design of the REVEL modules is based on the shapes of flowers. The luminaires provide discrete lighting, use energy-efficient OLEDs and support sustainability.

Acuity Brands’ Kindred OLED luminaire features a contemporary style with a slim profile and provides personalized canopies of light in rooms. It delivers over 3,000 lm of light and is designed for indoor lighting in restaurants, office, retail, and hospitality settings.
