Acuity Brands Introduces New Outdoor LED Pedestrian Application Lighting Systems

Acuity Brands, a global provider of energy-efficient luminaires and lighting control systems, has expanded its portfolio of outdoor LED pedestrian application lighting solutions.

The company has introduced new luminaires in its LED Outdoor WALK application product family. The products save energy and optimize illumination to provide sufficient lighting at night for walkway environments. Acuity Brands’ Tersen Ratio 1.5 luminaire has modern architectural styling and features a clamshell pole base that can be easily installed on existing poles. It has a “finned” design that provides style and also serve as a heat sink.

The American Electric Lighting AVPL luminaire is another pedestrian application product from Acuity Brands. It is energy-efficient and has a smart look, and is designed for residential street and municipal walkway applications. The luminaire features a tool-less entry and an electrical terminal block.

Acuity Brands’ WALK application family products are compatible with the company’s ROAM intelligent control solution that integrates photo-control technology with wireless control and monitoring capabilities.
