CommScope, a global provider of end-to-end solutions for communications networks, will showcase its new brand and solutions at the ANGA Cable Show 2011 in Cologne, Germany.
The company is set to launch a new portfolio of fiber-optic micro cable products for Outside Plant applications. Aimed at the European broadband market, the products include a central tube and stranded loose tube design to facilitate installations in congested areas.
CommScope will demonstrate the integration of its SYSTIMAX iPatch Intelligent Infrastructure Solution and the Command software suite from FNT. The integration would enable IT managers to have control and knowledge over auto-documentation and real-time monitoring of the physical layer infrastructure. Users would be able to create work orders that could be forwarded to the SYSTIMAX iPatch solution and then delivered electronically.
The company will also demonstrate the BrightPath Optical Solutions (BOS), an “end-to-end”, scalable FTTx solution that contains a complete suite of outside plant, head-end and end-user solutions. The BOS employs DOCSIS, DPoE, EPON, HFC, RFoG node segmentation technologies.
CommScope also plans to showcase its Edge 10 Optical Line Terminal, High Power RFoG MicroNodes and C5000 Optical Network Unit products.
