EnergyLite, a division of PowerSecure International, has inked a distribution deal with the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC) to supply EnergyLite’s LED-based area lighting products, SecureLite, to electric cooperatives across the U.S.
The SecureLite requires minimum maintenance and offers eco-friendly and energy-saving solutions to utilities. It is an ideal replacement to conventional HID lighting. The SecureLite is designed to offer superior quality light that offers utilities with technology that complies with dark sky regulations, reduces light pollution, and improves security and visibility.
The SecureLite also features a patented dusk-to-dawn control technology that reduces maintenance expenditures by improving reliability and efficacy of light.
The Vice President of Utility Solutions at NRTC, Ed Drew commented that the company is happy to distribute the SecureLite products as they deliver high return on investment to its members. The technology was engineered to meet the unique requirements of electric cooperatives, he added.
