Basler Vision Technologies, an international manufacturer of digital and IP cameras for industrial, medical and traffic applications, surveillance and business intelligence tasks, has commenced the series production of two new IP Camera models.
The models feature 720p HD and 5 MP resolutions and are equipped with CMOS sensors.
The new IP Camera models support multi-encoding and multi-streaming. They have the capability to provide four image streams with any type of encoder combination such as MPEG-4, MJPEG and H.264 compression. The four image streams can also be encoded with the same type of encoder. The CMOS sensors in the camera avoid smearing and blooming effects.
Basler’s BIP2-1280c-dn high definition IP camera uses MPEG-4, MJPEG and H.264 compression and provides real-time video at 30 fps frame rate, while the BIP2-2500c-dn IP Fixed Box Camera features a 9 fps frame rate and a 5 MP sensor.
Basler has planned to release the 1080p Full HD resolution IP camera in May 2011.
