CyberOptics Receives 2011 NPI Award for QX500 AOI System

CyberOptics, provider of inspection systems and sensors for semiconductor and electronic assembly markets, has received the 2011 New Product Introduction (NPI) Award for its QX500 AOI System in the automated optical inspection - Test and Inspection category.

CyberOptics QX500 AOI System

The QX500 AOI System has dual fixed-angle lighting that enables it to provide superior image quality for automated inspection of lead and solder defects, correct polarity, part, position and presence. It can inspect 01005 components. The strobed white lighting feature in the QX500 facilitates ‘on-the-fly’ area-scanning inspection at a speed of 200 cm²/sec.

CyberOptics received the award on April 12, 2011 during the IPC APEX 2011 in Las Vegas.
