Luminaire producer, Hubbell Lighting proclaimed that its lighting products have been selected to illuminate the new expanded Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH), which is slated for opening in June 2011.
Houston-based CCRD Partners, who did the electrical engineering works in the facility, recommended Hubbell Lighting’s general lighting products for the hospital spanning 770,000 square feet. Hubbell Lighting’s Arizona area agent, Arizona Lighting Sales supplied the company’s products, including outdoor parking garage lighting, exit lighting, recessed downlighting and fluorescent lighting, for the expansion project.
Hubbell Lighting supplied 4 of its 22 lighting brands for the project, which includes Columbia Lighting’s specification grade troffers and fluorescent indirect/direct troffers, Kim Lighting’s outdoor garage lighting, Dual-Lite’s LED exit signage and Prescolite’s small fluorescent recessed downlighting.
The PCH facility’s lighting was designed by Dallas-based Scott Oldner Lighting Design. With innovative lighting design, the PCH facility has now become a significant landmark in the community. The facility can be seen from a distance of 20 to 25 miles from almost all directions.
