NexPhase Lighting, a company that designs, develops and manufactures LED intelligent lighting fixtures, has completed the first stage of installation and testing of LED 100 W high bay fixtures at the main distribution warehouse of City Furniture. The warehouse covering one million square feet is located in Tamarac, Florida.
The distribution warehouse of City Furniture has more than 1,000 traditional high wattage lighting fixtures. In the first phase of the installation, NexPhase replaced 80 T8 fluorescent fixtures with 12 LED 100 W high bay fixtures. The T8’s were consuming 5,600 W of power, while NexPhase’s LED lights consume 1,200 W of electricity. In the first phase of installation, the return the investment is anticipated within a period of two years.
NexPhase intends to provide a complete intelligent solution for City Furniture’s warehouse. The company is a subsidiary of Onteco, which focuses on developing cost-effective solutions to address environmental challenges.
