PPT VISION, manufacturer of machine vision systems for worldwide automotive, electronics, medical and pharmaceutical industries, has launched a new line of GigE compatible line scan cameras called the IMPACT M500 Series.
The IMPACT M500 Series comprises 12 new cameras that range between 118.7 Khz, 1024 p model and 29.2 Khz, 2048 p model. Each model with F or C mount lensing choices endorses numerous encoder setups with direct digital inputs. The new series of line scan cameras, in combination with the IMPACT M-Series Embedded Vision System, facilitates reliable machine vision inspections concurrently.
The Chief Executive Officer at PPT VISION, Bob Heller commented that the IMPACT M-Series Embedded Vision System has already enhanced production and output for various producers and grayscale cameras such as the IMPACT A20 has solved most of the applications. However, line scan cameras and equipment are required to overcome large number of inspection activities for industries, including electronics, automotive assembly and sheet glass production, he added.
The IMPACT M-Series Embedded Vision System enables operators to carry out up to four specific ultra speed monitoring that can be either initiated separately at varied times or concurrently using a single s\vision processor. The new system eradicates the use of multiple systems for performing individual monitoring operations. Thus, the Embedded Vision System reduces the purchase costs as well as the networking and configuration time associated with conventional multiple systems.
