Lumiette Unveils Energy-Efficient Flat Panel Lamp

Lighting solutions provider, Lumiette has introduced a new Flat Panel Lamp (FPL) called the Xcellume PAR (Parabolic Aluminized Reflector type) 38 FPL. The lamp exhibits advanced dimming functionality, superior illumination and longer operating life.

The performance qualities of the FPL are similar as a LED lamp, while its dimming capability is equal to that of a compact fluorescent lamp. The warm color and flood lighting attributes of the FPL are the same as that of an incandescent bulb. The FPL offers lighting at reduced cost of ownership.

When compared to incandescent lamps, the FPL reduces energy consumption by 75% and has an operating life of 25,000 h. The lamp uses the company’s flat panel lamp technology and is compatible with current medium screw-based sockets used for residential purposes.

With a lumens-per-watt ratio value of 50, the Xcellume PAR 38 offers a brightness of 750 lm and requires a power input of only 15 W. The lamp’s innovative design makes it compatible with majority of current wall dimmers. Its operating life is 16 times longer when compared to incandescent lighting, 8 times longer compared to a halogen lamp and 4 times longer than a standard CFL lamp.
