Liown Electronics Enters into a Strategic Alliance with Smart Candle

Minnesota-based distributor of flameless LED candles, Smart Candle has entered into a distribution and manufacturing agreement with China-based Liown Electronics.

Liown Electronics has been developing LED lighting products and flameless candles since 1998. The company specializes in software/hardware, electronics and industrial design.

SmartCandle, established in 2004, has been providing novel LED-based products to retail and commercial customers in over 50 countries. The list of customers includes Costco, Walgreens, Sur La Table, Crate and Barrel as well as major clubs and hotels worldwide.

The Chief Executive Officer of Smart Candle, Josh Kutzler stated that the collaboration with Liown Electronics opens new retail markets and increases the global market share of Smart Candle.
