The pre-wired OPA775 and OPA776 LED strips, designed by TT electronics, are being used to deliver affordable backlighting solutions in advanced ATM machines.
The product line director, Roland Chapa stated that the LED strips produce consistent light and have an IDC connector interface that can be installed easily. Due to space restrictions, TT electronics assist in thermal management of the assemblies to mount the LED strips within the product housing.
The OPA775 / OPA776 LED strips offer cost-effective backlighting solutions for media illumination, under-counter lighting, accent lighting and large channel letter lighting.
The three-LED OPA775 Series strips can have up to 30 strips connected per buss. Each assembly includes Zierick 1286T connectors and a 7.5” FR-4 board for operation at 12 VDC and allows the development of the “Jacob’s Ladder”. All assemblies feature a luminous flux of 50 lm and a 125 mA drive current. Shipped in sets of 30, the LED strips draw a total current of 3.75 A.
The six-LED OPA776 Series strips can connect up to 60 strips per buss. They feature two strips of 7.5” FR-4 board and include three LEDs per strip, which is linked by a jumper wire. With a luminous flux of 100 lm, the LED strips can be operated at 24 VDC. Shipped in sets of 60, they draw a total current of 3.75 A.
