Ansara Restaurant Group Installs Eco-Story’s Energy-Efficient LED Lights

Michigan-based Ansara Restaurant Group has partnered with Portland-based Eco-Story to install around 3500 Eco-Story LED lamps.

The installations across 22 Ansara restaurants are expected to save over 1 million kWh of energy every year, which translates to utility cost savings of over $117,000 annually. The transition to LED lights will also reduce CO2 emissions by 524 tons.

Eco-story provided Ansara with LED par 38, par 30 and par 20 lamps for the interior and exteriors of the restaurants. The LED installation was completed in February 2011. Return on investment is expected in around 10 months.

The Co-founder of Eco-Story, Bill Stauffer stated that the company worked in tandem with Ansara Restaurant Group to ensure high quality lighting and greater energy savings by customizing the fittings according to the restaurant needs.
