New York Mall Installs Digital Signage System with LED Screens

Imperatives, provider of computer graphic systems, digital media services and signage, and a Scala Certified Partner, has conceptualized a digital signage system for the new 800,000 square-foot Sky View Center in Flushing, New York.

Imperatives partnered with Sansi North America, manufacturer of LED lighting and display systems, to launch the Scala powered network. The network has been installed on three Sansi LED screens, which are strategically placed in and around the mall. The network can be  expanded to additional hotspots in the mall. The signage system includes a central server that runs the Scala Content Manager software along with Scala Players. The content on the three screens is synchronized by the Scala software to simultaneously display the same message.

The content displayed by the digital signage system has been designed to inform customers about the opening dates of each store and their product offerings. The LED screens would be used to display advertising content and also to inform customers about various community programs at the mall.
