LED module designer and manufacturer, Permlight for Signs has launched a highly effective product, OmniStar for Signs. It offers various environmentally-friendly solutions for the signage industry.

OmniStar has a T70 life rating of 50,000 hours and features advanced LED technology for unparalleled illumination in signages. A patented binding system offers enhanced color consistency and the OmniStar also features module-level current control.

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Permlight stated that the module delivers an additional wide viewing angle of 155O and is more environmentally-friendly than other comparable products.

Designed for a reduced population density, OmniStar has a high-efficiency output. Using an integrated lens specifically designed to allow uniform distribution of light over a beam angle on 155O, even with shallow lettering, it allows users to utilize less product. Offering 80 lm/W, the module comes in a fully encapsulated design allowing it to be mounted on to any surface. OmniStar is IP68 compliant and can be used in a depth of more than three feet of water.
