SemiLEDs Unveils I-Do LED Chip for High Performance Applications

SemiLEDs, a company that produces LED components and LED chips, has released an original chip known as the I-Do LED. The company will include the LED chip in its product portfolio featuring high brightness LED products.

The I-Do LED is an improved version of the I-Core AK LED series that is specifically designed to offer superior performance, brightness and durability.

The I-Do chip can be used for compact, high performance applications as it offers low thermal resistance. With an innovative design, the LED combines high current capability of 700 mA and 1A with low forward voltage and allows optimized distribution of current.

The I-Do LED’s inventive design delivers greater internal quantum efficiency. At 350 mA, a 45 mil I-Do chip can generate up to 135 lm with 5000-7000K CCT and deliver a 10% increase in efficiency than the previous versions.
