Olympus Releases Crushproof Digital Camera with Inbuilt Manometer

Olympus is all set to release its toughest-ever digital camera, the TOUGH TG-810. According to the company, the camera is the first crushproof digital imaging device and can withstand a load of up to 100 kg.

The TOUGH TG-810 is also shockproof to 2 m, waterproof to 10 m and freeze-proof to -10°C.

Key features of the camera include an electronic compass, a 3-sensor GPS and an integrated manometer to track the pressure levels in deep water. The 14 MP camera provides good image quality and has a 28 to 140 mm 5x wide optical zoom lens. It has a 3D shooting mode and records HD Video at a 720p resolution. Other features include face detection, underwater scene modes and shadow adjustment technology.
