TILL Photonics Launches Two-Photon Imaging Fluorescence Microscope

TILL Photonics has launched a two-photon, dual-color imaging fluorescence microscope called the IntraVital2P that provides efficient images of live tissues.

IntraVital2P

Its exceptional light collection efficacy makes it suitable for pharmacology, biomedicine, cell biology and neurobiology. It enhances signal-to-noise ratios for dynamic measurements of highly scattering tissue and simplifies imaging at low-light levels.

The IntraVital2P monitors huge areas of field diagonal of up to 22 mm and captures high-quality three-dimensional pictures with minimum phototoxic effects using the company’s voice coil-based z focus drive and Yanus IV digital scanhead. The smallmicroscope features a step response time of less than 10 ms, a resolution of 50 nm and excursions of up to 7.5 mm to produce precise images. The digital galvo control, pixel dwell time of less than 1ms, NA 1.1 and a 25x objective are some of the other features of the microscope.

The Colibri LaserScan open source software offers complete control of the scanhead, the motor and the configuration. It also facilitates the integration of extra parts such as cameras.

The microscope provides bidirectional scanning with all possible speeds and non- descanned detection method for dual color imaging with two GaAsP PMTs, having equal signal collection efficacy.
