Uniquest to Distribute LensVector’s Solid-State Optical Components in Korea

Provider of solid-state optical components for laptops, camera phones and other electronic products, LensVector has selected Uniquest as its distributor partner for the Korean market.

Uniquest will supply LensVector’s optical components and offer services such as technical support, sales and local supply logistics.

LensVector has designed an innovative optical technology that can guide, focus and shape light without resulting in any mechanical movement. This novel technology substitutes the intricate, large mechanical autofocus mechanisms that are normally used in camera phones with a solid-state part. LensVector supplies its optical components to major customers across the world.

The Chief Executive Officer at LensVector, Derek Proudian commented that the company is happy about the new distribution deal with Uniquest as it is gearing up to strengthen its innovative optical technology.

Uniquest’s General Executive and President, John Kim commented that the autofocus technology from LensVector has the potential to impact the global mobile market.
