Acuity Brands Introduces Lithonia Lighting Indoor LED Luminaires

LED lighting specialist, Acuity Brands has introduced two indoor LED ambient lighting products under the Lithonia Lighting brand, called the ACLED and the TLED.

The ACLED is an architectural volumetric, high-quality lighting fixture, while the TLED is a general purpose, ultra-quality LED recessed troffer. The luminaires are equipped with the company’s nLight intelligent controls interface to offer energy-efficient ambient white lighting solutions with minimum maintenance expenditures.

The ACLED is a blend of both modern and traditional design and features flexible controls and sophisticated LEDs. It provides a pleasant volumetric light and eliminates the extension of the fixture below the ceiling plane generally called as quiet ceiling. It comes in 2’x2’ design and has 3300 delivered lumens at an input power of 41 W.

The TLED offers flawless continuous dimming functionalities. Its reliable design and traditional aesthetic appearance makes it a versatile luminaire. It also comes in 2’x2’design and has 3300 delivered lumens at an input power of 41 W. It distributes soft light uniformly and thus is suitable for healthcare, education, retail and office applications.

The General Manager and Vice President at Acuity Brands Lighting, Dave Ranieri, commented that the nLight intelligent control system makes the two LED luminaries to execute plug-and-play connectivity to manual wall controls, photocells and occupancy sensors and in turn reduces energy consumption and payback period.
