GigOptix to Demonstrate DWDM Bundled Solutions for Optical Applications at OFC 2011

Provider of advanced electro-optic and electronic components for 100 and 40 G optical networks, GigOptix has proclaimed that it will exhibit its 100 driver and 40 G DPSK Mach-Zehnder Modulator (MZM) at the OFC/NFOEC conference.

The event is an international expo and conference for networking and optical communication products and will be conducted on 8 March 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

GigOptix will demonstrate its two Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) Bundled products at the expo. The 40 G Bundled system called the LX8401 is a DPSK TFPS optical modulator. It features low drive voltage in a compact form factor for ultra-long-haul and long-haul optical transponders.

The company will also display its 100 G Bundled Solution drivers called GX62455. They are low power incorporated quad channel 32 Gb/s drivers and are specifically developed for 100 G DP-QPSK long-haul optical transmitters.
