Dell has launched a network-ready monochromatic laser printer called 1130n. Ideal for start-ups and small and medium businesses, the printer’s feeding tray can hold up to 250 sheets of paper. It weighs 7.3 kg, measures 360x389x197 mm and comes with a neat interface.
Conventionally designed, it has been built using good quality plastic and has a matt finish. The Dell 1130n comes with a built-in Ethernet port and a USB port, which enables it to remain connected with a single PC. The buttons for cancelling a print and power are placed on the top. The interface, which is placed at the back of the unit, features a power inlet and each port is easily accessible.
The printer can be easily connected to the network, which the drivers detect within seconds. The performance settings and features can be easily customized by the user. The printer also detects paper jam or an empty tray and alerts the situation to the user or the system admin.
