BFi OPTiLAS, Silicon Sensor Ink Distribution Agreement for Photodetectors

Silicon Sensor International, a UK-based distributor of photodetectors, and BFi OPTiLAS, a major supplier of Photonics in the Pan-European market, have signed an exclusive distribution agreement.

Silicon Sensor supplies a wide range of tailor-made Optoelectronic Modules, Position Sensors, Avalanche Photodiodes and Silicon PINs for applications in the automotive, security, industrial, medical, aerospace and military industries. Under the terms of the distribution agreement, the products will be marketed in Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Luxemburg, Italy, Holland, France, Finland, Denmark and Belgium.

BFi OPTiLAS, with full vertical integration, can offer products depending on the light sensing requirements of the customers. The company provides tailored packaging and spectral improvements from near-infrared (NIR) to ultraviolet (UV). UV-Blue-NIR wavelength range of 1064 nm, low reflection, quick response, less crosstalk, long operating life, least capacitance,  low series resistance and dark current are some of the major features of the products.
