Acuity Brands’ nLight Network Lighting Control Solution Earns 2011 Top Product Award

Specialist in advanced energy-saving lighting and control products, Acuity Brands has proclaimed that its nLight Network Lighting Control System has been chosen as best product in the lighting controls segment and has earned the 2011 Top Products Award by the Building Operating Management Magazine. The magazine select products based on their benefits and novel features.

The nLight, which was launched in 2007, is a distributed control system that can be designed and deployed effortlessly. It is an innovative networking intelligent and digital architecture controls solution, which incorporates manual lighting controls, motion sensors and time-based photocontrols economically.

The turnkey system is developed to operate as a single system in a single room or as a network system for the whole campus. The nLight, with Distributed Intelligence that allows zones to operate independently, improves the occupant and user experience and reduces energy consumption considerably.

The Product Value Stream Leader for Sensor Switch and Vice President of Acuity Brands Lighting, Ben Hahn stated that the company is happy that the nLight has been named as the best product in the lighting control category by the design engineers, facility managers and building operators for the year 2011.
