Dowin-Australia Introduces Single Chip LED Downlights and LED T8 Tubes

Dowin-Australia has launched a new series of single chip LED downlights that have more than 90 CRI, making them the highest CRI downlights in the market.

Single chip LED downlights

Colour rendering index (CRI) denotes the capability of a light source to deliver colours on a scale of about 100. Greater CRI indicates the light’s capacity to demonstrate the real object colours, and higher CRI is needed in salons, museums, retail outlets, shopping centres and art galleries where lights are important to retain the natural colours of the objects.

Consistency in both light color and light output is a critical quality factor for the LED fixtures. The single chip LED lights from Dowin-Australia meet such criteria. The company, apart from the single chip LED fixtures, provides new LED T8 tubes that offer broader beam angle and have the same light output as standard florescent T8 lights and are nearly similar as the florescent tube lights. The LED T8 tube complies with Australia Lighting and IEC standards. It consumes 18W of power and saves 50% of energy.
