Marson Technology has introduced an advanced laser barcode scanner for banking, library, logistic and retail applications. The company is based in Taiwan and manufactures professional barcode scanners.
The MT7940 laser barcode scanner has received multi-country patents and was patented in China, Taiwan, Japan, France, Germany and USA. The scanner produces a brighter and thinner light beam that does not vibrate during barcode reading within the reading range. The light beam, which is produced through optics swaying principle, accurately reads thin barcodes unlike CCD barcode scanners.
The parameters of the scanner cannot be changed easily because setting the barcodes on hard-copy manual is a complex process. On the other hand, the configuration utility of Marson’s laser barcode scanner is flexible and user-friendly.
The MT7940 supports 1D barcodes and has up to PCS 30% barcode readability. It can interpret high-density barcode of 3 mil. The interface cable in the scanner has passed the standard industrial test that assures the product sturdiness. The scanner complies with MI & Safety as well as RoHS standards, making it reliable and safe than non-patent scanners.
