Oxley to Provide LED Lighting System for Foxhound Patrol Vehicle

Oxley Developments announced that it has been chosen to provide a dual-mode LED lighting solution for the Foxhound British patrol vehicle. Foxhound is a Light Protected Patrol Vehicle and has been designed by Force Protection Europe.

Force Protection Europe announced that it will provide 200 British-designed vehicles to the Defense Ministry. Oxley had delivered LED DC Combi lights during the manufacturing of the first phase of vehicles and has been granted the contract to provide lighting solutions for all the 200 Foxhound patrol vehicles.

The lights operate in emergency/blackout and normal modes and are an ideal alternative to conventional filament lighting. They come without or with dimming control with a 50000 h mean time between failure. The blackout lighting mode comes in blue, green, and red colors.

Marcus Goad, Oxley’s Business Development Manager stated that the DC Combi is a reliable high specification light that is ideal for the Foxhound patrol vehicles.
