Bosch Unveils AEGIS SuperLED White Light with High-Efficiency LEDs

Bosch Security Systems has launched a new solid-state illuminator that offers start-up white light to allow precise, clear color surveillance images at night time.

The AEGIS SuperLED White Light version also improves safety in risk prone regions. It is equipped with high-efficient LEDs that with a color temperature, which accurately matches video camera sensors’ sensitivity.

The AEGIS SuperLED White Light has a 3D Diffuser Technology that distributes light uniformly between a scene’s background and foreground. This technology eradicates both image hot spots and underexposed regions and allows surveillance cameras to function within their appropriate dynamic range.

The illuminator also has a Constant Light Technology that adjusts and controls the light output to compensate for LED degradation and differentiation in LED outputs that are generally caused by temperature fluctuations. This enables the illuminator to deliver constant lighting performance at a temperature range between -40º F and +122º F. The device delivers a reliable and high-performance lighting solution for security and safety applications and has an IP 67 rated housing for adverse outdoor conditions.
