Lighting retrofit firm, Value Energy Solutions has finished an energy-conserving lighting retrofit project for Dutchess Rec.’s warehouse located in Poughkeepsie, New York. Dutchess Rec. is a dealer of powersports vehicles, accessories and related components.
Value Energy Solutions works with over 250 lighting producers and thus can provide appropriate solution to suit the requirements of customers.
One of the main operating expenditure for Dutchess Rec was illuminating the warehouse and the retail area. In order to reduce its energy expenditures, the firm asked Value Energy Solutions to replace the existing lighting with more energy-saving lighting products. Value Energy Solutions recommended Dutchess Rec. to use 300 T5 adapters that can save energy costs between 40% and 50%. The T-5 adapters enabled Dutchess Rec. to shift to energy-conserving lamps without replacing its current fluorescent luminaires.
The T-5 adapter is integrated with ultra-efficient, low-power ballast that makes it easy to deploy. The operating life of the T-5 adapters is 60,000 h, which will assist Dutchess Rec. to reduce its maintenance expenditures considerably. The payback period for the UL and ETL certified adapters is less than 24 months.
