GAO Releases Fiber-Optic Talk Set for Telecommunication Networks

Provider of fiber-optic test instruments, GAO Fiber Optics has released a new fiber-optic talk set that is ideal for maintaining, optical testing, installing and fiber attenuation value testing in telecommunication, CATV and data networks.

Fiber Optic Talk Set

The 5401 fiber-optic talk set combines a stable light source and a digital light source and operates in wavelength signals of 1550 nm or 1310 nm.

The optical fiber talk set features a seven-color LCD screen, which displays the functions clearly. It has an enhanced connection in full-duplex communication mode that facilitates in increasing the testing distance.

The output power of the device ranges between -5 dBm and -7 dBm with modulation frequencies of CW, 2 kHz, 1 kHz, and 270 Hz. The 5401 fiber-optic talk set has a rechargeable battery that provides continuous operation for five hours.
