Solyndra Releases Guide on Rooftop Solar Installations

Solyndra has launched a new guide for people who seek to specify easy-to-install solar systems on their industrial or commercial rooftops.

Solar Guide

The solar guide has been released in conjunction with the NRCA patronized International Roofing Exhibition that was held in Las Vegas from 16 to 18 February 2011. The company has exhibited its 200 series rooftop solar systems at the Expo.

Karen Alter, Solyndra’s SVP of Marketing stated that the guide will assist potential clients to ask specific questions and comprehend the important constituents of a rooftop solar project. He added that the company’s roofing and solar specialists will assist in the incentive programs to formulate a better rooftop solar design.

The 200 series rooftop solar solution displayed at the Roofing Expo is designed to safeguard and improve the existing roofing system. The low level distribution load of the system permits installation without extra structural strengthening of the roof. The exclusive cylindrical design evades wind resistance and active structural load and provides better performance by resisting adverse wind, soil and snow conditions.
