GAO Fiber Optics Unveils 5307 Optical Power Meter for Passive Components

GAO Fiber Optics has rolled out a new dual channel bench-top optical power meter that is specifically developed for passive components.

5307 Dual Channel Bench-top Optical Power Meter

The 5307 optical power meter is capable of performing various measurements and monitoring the power of channels.

The power meter works at a 850-1700 nm wavelength range and provides calibrated wavelengths of 1625, 1550, 1490, 1480, 1310, 1300, 980 and 850 nm. The device is equipped with an advanced technology and a self-calibration feature to maintain maximum signal-noise ratio.

In addition, the power meter communicates via an RS232 interface for information exchange. Using a bare fiber tip, the optical power meter determines the power measurements with bare fiber.
