IQ Laser Vision announced that it has procured Wavelight’s Allegretto Wave Eye-Q LASIK platform that features a sophisticated surgical laser for customized, precise, and safe vision correction.
Allegretto Wave Eye-Q Device
The Allegretto Wave Eye-Q laser device features an advanced eye-tracking system and a wavefront-optimized technology to customize corneal ablation.
The laser’s eye tracking system automatically adjusts to the changes that incur in a patient’s pupil size. This facilitates in delivering a precise and safe vision correction technique for each patient. The device also delivers 400 treatment pulses each second and corrects the refractive errors of a patient in a very less time.
The Medical Director of IQ Laser Vision, Dr. Robert T. Lin stated that the Allegretto Wave Eye-Q laser device corrects the refractive errors and preserves the shape of the cornea. He added that the procedure also decrease the post-procedure effects such as halos and glares.
