Lighting Science announced that its high-performance LED bulbs are being utilized to light up Yankee Candle stores across England.
DEFINITY PAR 20 LED Bulb
The company’s DEFINITY PAR 38, PAR 30, PAR 20 and MR 16 LED bulbs deployed in the stores are nearly 80% more effective, when compared to the halogen bulbs. The DEFINITY LED bulbs provide enhanced light quality, are completely recyclable and do not contain mercury.
The LED bulbs are cULus-listed and underwent a meticulous ENERGY STAR Eligibility Criteria, Version 1.1 process to assure reliability and performance. The test was approved by the CALiPER program. The bulbs also underwent a third party laboratory test under the LM79 standard for light emission pattern, color spatial uniformity, color rendering, color temperature, and efficiency. The DEFINITY LED bulbs were also tested for color maintenance, lumen maintenance, and for in-situ temperature.
Yankee Candle’s Energy and Retail Facilities Manager, Jeff Lubarsky stated that the LED lighting solution deliver enhanced performance and light distribution to meet the design, environment, and energy needs.
