Panasonic has included 2D and 3D capabilities in its Plasma and LED TV series. The DT30 3D LED LCD TV line includes 32” and 37’’ panel models as well as the IPS Alpha panel, which offers 400 HZ backlight scanning for enhanced 3D motion.
The IPS Alpha panel also offers wide viewing angles, quick response time, enhanced black reproduction, minimized crosstalk and quick scanning range of 2 ms.
In addition to the DT30, Panasonic has unveiled the VT30 3D TV that includes a NeoPlasma technology and offers a quick response time of 0.001 ms and a quick 600 Hz mode. The VT30 series is available in 40, 50, 55 and 65’’ panel sizes for 3D viewing. In addition, it includes two pairs of 3D glasses and a WiFi LAN adaptor and consumes 20 W less power.
Both the VT30 and the DT30 TVs feature Panasonic’s internet portal, Viera Connect. In addition, they include a number of functions such as Skype video calling and Viera Image Viewer for playing 3D and 2D images through USB SD cards.
