Mitsubishi Electric Launches 9-Inch TFT-LCD Module in QHD Format

Mitsubishi Electric has unveiled a new 9’’ colour TFT-LCD module that features a Quarter High Definition format (QHD) of 960×540.

The AA090AA01 module offers a quick response speed of fewer than 8 ms and displays sharp images even at fast motions.

The TFT-LCD module features a LED backlight that has an itegrated LED driver, enabling design engineers to connect the power supply and the LVDS 8bit data interface to use the TFT-LCD module. It features a horizontal/vertical wide viewing angle of 170° and 1000:1 contrast ratio for a vivid image. In addition, the LCD module covers 72% of the NTSC colour gamut.

The AA090AA01 module measures 217x130x9.5 mm and weighs 300 g. The module’s LED backlight offers 100,000 h operating lifetime at 25°C operating temperature. It provides high contrast and wide viewing angle to fulfill the requirements of broadcasters. In addition, the TFT-LCD module is mercury-free and complies with RoHS standards.
