Philips Lighting Receives Energy Star Label for 60 W LED Replacement Bulbs

Philips Lighting has received an Energy Star certification for its 60 W replacement LED bulbs called the Philips EnduraLED. The 12.5 W Philips AmbientLED is a suitable replacement for 60 W incandescent light bulbs.

The AmbientLED delivers a color temperature of 2700 K for soft white light and offers a lumen output of 806 lm. In addition, it provides a color rendering index (CRI) of 80.

Philips has filed its A19 replacement light bulb to receive consideration for the L Prize of the US Department of Energy. This step facilitates the development of an A19 replacement bulb that consumes a minimum of 10 W power and delivers 900 lm of lumen output.
